Good afternoon COTA, I have been slackin' off big time on this. There is a heavy need to process and/or promote the large recruit pool that we have. I will be doing this through the next three recruit trainings which will be happening weekly on May 24th, May 31st and June 7th. If recruits are unable to attend at least two OWR trainings, they will be processed out. If recruits perform well during two trainings they are promoted to full OWS. I want to start getting people used to leadership roles on all levels, I would like to see OWS's fill their role as team leaders where necessary during passive and combat deployments. If any of you would like to step up and enroll in either of the occupational specialties or take more active leadership roles, let me know. I'm not looking for prior experience, only the initiative that it takes to say "sure I'll give it a shot" and a slightly bigger time commitment to attend an additional training or two. If that sounds good to you, let me know and we'll talk about it.
